Dublin is a local group of AEGEE, one of the biggest interdisciplinary youth associations in Europe. AEGEE, also known as the "European Students' Forum", is represented by more than 15 000 students, active in about 240 academic cities across 40 countries around the whole continent. AEGEE is a secular, non-profit organisation, not linked to any political party. All projects and activities are based on the voluntary work and enthusiastic drive of its members.
Our aim is to create a truly unified Europe, not through high-level summits and treaties, but on the individual level, from one young person to the next.
Others might talk about Europe, but in AEGEE we live it!
There are several hundred events across our network every year. Some are quite serious, dealing with globalisation, visa/migration policies, educational systems, etc... Others are more culturally oriented, focusing on history, art or language learning. We also offer courses on sports, films, dance, photography and even sunshine and beer!
From AEGEE You should expect nothing and also expect it all, because no matter what kind of initiative draws you in, you will surely end up having great fun!
Sounds like you were born to be an AEGEEan? Prove it!
